InstagramMaximiliaan Schevenhels (b. 1999, Sint-Niklaas) is a Ghent-based designer with a background in architecture. His work spans spatial design, scenography, and objects, combining a strong structural approach with a sensitivity to material behaviour and process. Drawing inspiration from dynamic systems and transformations over time, he develops work as a way to understand and articulate these processes. He is also involved in collaborative projects alongside his independent practice.

Installation
Befriending Discomfort

Een ontwerp voor een architecturale praktijk die de conventionele opvatting van architectuur als een “solide barrière tegen de natuur” verschuift naar één die zich gedraagd als een doorlaatbaar membraan.


Een ruimte waar dagelijkse aanpatsbaarheid en het omarmen van “discomfort” de norm worden.

De focus ligt op het opnieuw leren kennen van onze zintuigen om binnenomgevingen effectief te reguleren zonder technologie.
